Risk In Water-Assisted Liposuction

In every surgical procedure, there are risks and negative outcomes, such as bruising and swelling in or around the treated area, and will be definitely visible in the post-operative stage. This is the same in a water-assisted liposuction surgery. After the operation, the areas affected may feel numb but this is temporary. Other risks involved are asymmetry, seroma (accumulation of fluid), and haematoma (collection of blood outside the blood vessels). Infection is most common to patients but vary in different instances. Other risks may include adverse reaction to the anaesthetics or sedative drugs being used during the surgery. Pharmacological adverse effects after lipo may sometimes be present due to allergens in the drug being prescribed to the patient.
